Description
The Jharokha is a stone window seen from the wall face of a building, in an upper story, overlooking a street, market, court or any other open space. This glass wall fitting has been inspired by the famous and populous arches of Jaipur with its glass hand cut into fine shapes. These, in a blue and silver, are then assembled in patterns. This piece contributes to the revival of Rajasthan's artisanal mirror inlay craft known as Thikri. The edges and the overall appeal has made it a rather loved Baaya mural.
