The Baaya Design Team conceptualised this vibrant artwork around Turkish Sufi philosopher Rumi’s beautiful quote- “Wherever you are, be the Soul of that place.”
We were inspired by the quote and thought of tying up with a contemporary artist Anila for the textile work. Arch. Kavan Shah collaborated with Baaya right from refining the concept to the detailing, colors and interpreting the painting into specific textile work, with the aid of Ari embroidery artisans of Gujarat.
