Showcase Highlights
At India Design 2024, Baaya unveiled two monumental works, Grounded and the Dance of Life Helix. Together, they expressed the duality of design: earth’s rooted presence and life’s eternal ascent.
Main Installation
Grounded
Crafted from our signature Copper Enamel, Metal Artistry, and Wood Carving methods, Baaya’s biophilic design brings together textures and sensations that echo the vibrant imprints of the forest. Every meticulously handcrafted element reflects the delicate balance of natural cycles.
At the heart of the installation is the DNA helix structure at its core represents the very blueprint of life a symbol of how deeply nature is embedded within us. Just as the forest sustains life in countless ways, our connection to nature and craft sustains our human experience.

Design Narrative & Material Language
Baaya’s narrative fused tradition with contemporary imagination. Copper enamel shimmered with organic motifs; carved wood added tactility; painting brought rhythm and detail. Together, these mediums embodied a forest atmosphere and cosmic ascent.
Visitor Experience & Impact
Audiences experienced both stillness and wonder. Grounded was a space of contemplation, while the Helix lifted spirits with its dynamic form. The juxtaposition made Baaya’s pavilion one of the most talked-about installations at the fair.
