Map of Memories in Silver Leafing
Hand-painted in a contemporary miniature style, each motif is delicately detailed to evoke not just place, but memory; a rhino in the wild, bicycles on a coastal path, a skyline lit by fireworks. This is not just a map, but a memoryscape, a tribute to exploration, shared wonder, and the quiet magic of places that leave their mark on the soul.
The piece is crafted with traditional silver leafing techniques, with fine brushwork and layered narrative motifs.
It is both an artistic heirloom and a deeply personal keepsake.
Our Art Affair: Indian Folk Art Week
We transformed our Experience Centre into a living gallery this month showcasing Bheel, Pattachitra, and Phad styles. Each week introduced a new world, woven from myths, village life, and bold visual storytelling.
Phad continues this July, featuring stunning works by master artisan Prakash Joshi where epic tales unfold across vibrant, hand-painted panels.
Grounded Finds a Home in Ahmedabad
Our signature Grounded Mural has now been installed in a corporate office in Ahmedabad! A biophilic masterpiece blending copper enamel, metal textures, and wood carving, it captures the language of the forest in architectural art form.
Sound of Waves – Phase 3 is in the making!
Right now at Baaya, two very different landscapes are coming together. We’re creating a hand-embroidered Textile Map of Chennai, based on our client’s memories of the city, a personal journey stitched into fabric.
And over at our Copper Enamel Workshop, we’re building the beautiful Ocean Floor, with glints of enamel, drift-like metal, and soft wooden textures. We can’t wait to share more.
